I am currently playing at some medium but mostly high at 800 by 600 settings. My system is an AMD 3000+ overclocked to 2.32 ghz, a 6600 overclocked to 355 and 580 and 1 gig of RAM. My question is whether or not you have the upper hand if you have higher resolution. Should I sacrifice some settings in order to play at a higher resolution?
Question about my graphics.

Re: Question about my graphics.
Yes, the resolution can bring you a disadvantage. With the specs you have, you should be able to have a resolution of 1024x768 minimum.

Re: Question about my graphics.
I have pretty much the same system. AMD 3200 not overclocked, BFG 6600GT and 2 gig's ram. I have everything on medium and 1280X960. 2X AA, and everything runs no problem....

Re: Question about my graphics.
Yes like MCJH said, one of my computers runs a 6600 and it does fine at the higher resolution. It probably wont help or hurt your game play though. It will definately look better. . . . . . .Red
