patched but servers still say i'm on an older version..

Hi, I recently tried playing BF2 and noticed that my same version only filter left me with about 30 servers.
I have EuroForce installed (which I beleive comes with v1.21?), and went online to discover that there was a v1.21 - 1.22 patch.
I downloaded and installed this and it's not made any difference.

in BF2 in the top right there is a yellow version number.
mine reads: 1.1.2716-548.0
this doesn't look anything like 1.22 - am I doing anything wrong?

no your not doing anything wrong except for the lack of using the search button, I believe there's about 80-100 topics on this.
