    crate repairs or engineers?

Okay I have noticed many of you complaining regardingTanks or APC's not being destroyed easly.

I have played on 24/7 Strike at karkand, and I see it mostly everyday and every game I play... a tank with an APC and a crate behind them...any hit they get it's already being fixed by the supply box....

I was wondering there is a class in USMC,MEC,CHN etc etc called an engineer. he has the proper tools to fix the damn tanks...

how would a box repair a TANK!

I understand once someone run out of ammo goes next to the box and being resupplied...like he taking some ammo from it.... BUT A BOX FIXING A TANK!

    IT'S AN OUTRAGE!!!

    thank you..

Just part of the game. Works to fix arty too. Is that any better? Last night on Sharqui I C4'd both arty pieces and when the commander dropped the box to fix the one I used it to resupply and blow them again.

I play as engy in armor and have no problem with the boxes fixing armor. Not like they can spam boxes all over the place. There is a delay between drops.

      indeed...

what I do in that case is aim my anti tank to destroy their crate then give my mates some chance to disable those Tanks and APC's....

Really the proper way to play armour is Engineer Buddy Teams with Amour and the Two APCs (especially on Karkand). the APC takes care of Infantry and orther light vehicles including car bombers while the Tank takes care of armour and vehicles.

A tank can get over half his hit points repaired by two APC eng. in les than a second.

It is also a great way to get those repair points for Expert Engineer Badge.

The Crates are really not that good for healing if you are against a good gunner. Only usefull if you are in some major small arms action when you can't take the time to remove yourself from the front to do a little RnR on your vehicle.

If you are a good gunner than you should be infront of the crate to protect the crate (also to hide it from your opponent).

If you are a good commander you should drop it behind a camped armour.

That crate is the first thing I destroy.

If the team is any decent, eventually they all will respawn as AT and attrit the hell of the armor. 3 armor manned by enginneers can be defeated by 10 AT'ers.

A box fixing a tank is about as rediculous as a defibulator helping a guy who just got hit with a .50 cal round to the head. That's why its a game and not boot camp.

I think it would be a fair for the supply crate fixed armor if it did it at the same speed that it restores life to infantry. Then an AT can kill a tank that is camping a supply crate, but it would take most or all of his ammo if he didn't destroy the crate first.

That is funny when you think about it. But it is a slow repair process. It just adds tatic to the game.

Suspend disbelief. I love fixing tanks with a crescent wrench. I may even put it on my resume...

you've repaired a tank with simply a wrench after the tank has been hit with a rocket?
