Retreiving Windows Key

Hey guys.

The last few times ive tried to boot BF up ive CTD instantly, I tihnk a full reformat is on order.
The only problem is, i threw out my Windows CD key which was stuck to my old case . (was not thinking)

Before i contact Microsoft, Is there any possible way to find it out, maybe in the registry?
