I have posted some issues earlier with a controller but those were figured out, thanks. However now I notice I have no option to go in reverse in a land vehicle or boat. I see I have options for accelerate and decelerate, but no option for reverse. I have set button to use both those options. I can accelerate just fine, turn left and right, but when I hit decelerate it just stops me. I can not move backwards at all. Did I miss a setting or something? While on foot I move just fine. I have forward, back, left, right all programed to the d-pad on my controller. They work like a dream there and as long as I am moving forward in a land vehicle or boat no problems but I can not move in reverse at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is just weird. I installed a new Logitech PS2 type of controller to replace a cheaper one I had before that went belly up. I could do everything fine with that one now I am having this issue. I tested the controller and all of the buttons worked so I know it's not there. Just when I assign the buttons I am not finding an option for "reverse" in the play commands. Please HELP!

uhm reverse is holding down the S key (default) its not like a racing game where you hav to change gears to reverse -

I programmed decelerate as an option but it did nothing. I went into the game to test it and accelerate worked great but not so much on decelerate. I went no where. I'll try another button I guessComment

do you use the WSAD keys for movement? If so, the "S" key or "down" will reverse your vehicles after they come to a complete stopComment

I have programmed my movements to the d-pad on my controller. So up=forward, down=back, left & right as you would push on the d-pad in that direction. My questions is to I need decelerate or can I simply push accelerate and hold down for reverse??? It's very oddComment

eh pressing 'up' to accellerate (go fast) depress 'up' to slow down... pressing 'down' will slow the vehicle faster, and eventually reverse..
