Yeah since 1/.2 EA have messed something up with wireless, as I can run it perfectly fine on MP on the unpatched version of BF2.

Just hope they fix it with 1.3 patch *fingers crossed*

im still having a problem with the 1.4 patch and i know its not my hardware as im running,

so it has to be something even when i reinstall bf2 and all the full patches it still happens, can someone help?????

i have roughly the same setup as xavi except a geforce video card and i can't even stay connected to any server for more than a minute.
This is extremely annoying. I was kinda stoked to see bf2142 or w/e but i definately wont buy it now because I always have so many problems with EA's games.
ports are fully open so if anyone wants to hack my pc make sure u fix my bf2 problem while ur at it

first post for me but i am similar to you guys in probs and PC spec, only had the game since august as i didnt have a powerful PC but every game is 'connection was lost' and i've tried everything i can possibly understand of various forums.

Is there a definitive answer to this somewhere???

hi all ive ive tried it all in the past couple months and aint found fix yet sometimes it works late at night when less traffic online??? but ive about had it with ea we should all keep on their asses untill they get problem fixed i am refusing to buy 2142 untill they do and suggest yu all do same lets make some noise!!!! i email their support department daily

Same problem here and I have tried everythink . EA games told the same than EFFEKT without any success. This prob went out with the patch 1.4.
Heard once it was the CD key (??????)
I think we need to wait patch 1.5

i had this problem for ages and i found that it was my cpu i have a amd dual core 4600+ cpu what i did to fix the problem was to bring up the task manager start bf2 then when bf2 starts right click on the bf2.exe then goto set affinity and un tick cpu 1 and have just cpu 0 running.

Hopefully this will solve some of your problems it has for me :)
