Does anyone else notice the trend here? Why should any game require this much memory, processor intensive I understand, GPU strain I grasp, but I can’t come up with a reason why this game is such a pig for memory. Coding issues maybe, utilization issues possibly (ergo leaks), unwise texture buffering?….now don’t get me wrong, since I had to perform a memory upgrade for this game I am pretty much guaranteed to be appropriately scaled for any other game that comes out in say...the next decade, but that should say something to everyone. I liked the game (250hr of my life guarantees it) but do you really think QW:ET will have such a dependency on memory utilization…..not likely, and it uses higher poly models and megatextures.

OCZ 2x512MB now, and I have OCZ 2x1GB kit being delivered tomorrow.

512 is deffinetly not enuohg ram to play. i ordered another gig but it "lost " at the moment....F**k Ups

It was my understanding, and I am more than likely wrong, that anything more than 2GB of ram is a bit of a waste with current software including BF2, as it does not utilize it

about 1.25 gigs-used to have 256 mb (lol), but that was too little, and I got a gig.
