same thing happens to me. I simply can't understand what 's wrong with some people. Teamplay is king (should be) and fun. Your teammates are vital to your teams victory, along with very few people i do put this theory into practice, and i always revive teammates (even if it puts my life at risk, but i don't revive during arty or tank whoring) Yeah sometimes my k/d ratio sucks, but who cares? as long as you have a good time and are able to help out your team. It s great to see a guy just getting killed an u know he is thinking ****, another wasted 15 seconds, +1 death +1 minute of driving/flying to the battle. Then you revive him and he can go right back to capping the flag.
I love this so much in fact, that i always pick up dead medic kits to revive them :) most ppl appreciate this, but the occiasonal prick even starts shouting he wants his kit back....
as for the n00b medics only healing themselves... annoying. Next to medic I play a lot of assault, G3 that is, no nbtb, and before the patch, when there was an awful lot of pkm whoring going on, you thin k it would be easy to get your hands on an ammo pack from one of the 25 support peeps on your team. well think again. They were so busy sniping other n00bs, that i could just stand in front of them screaming for ammo, and they would just ignore (or even tk) you.

I've been seeing the same thing. I can be critically wounded, surrounded by medics, and all I can hear is 'get first aid here!' Frustrating as hell.

I first noticed this trend when SF came out, it has since migrated to Vbf2 and has gotten worse.

Personally, I love playing as a medic, not for the point whoring, but for the heroism of charging through enemy fire, even arty strikes, to help a team mate. I'm not stupid though, there's no point reviving someone if they're still in the line of fire.

There is an explanation for the useless medic that no-one has yet considered. Those 'medics' are not medics.

With Assault class being nerfed into pointlessness, all the assault players have switched to being medics. They've got better weapons and can heal themselves, and to hell with everyone else.

I really don't see why you wouldn't revive people. Same amount of points as a kill and you likely get a couple of kills taking out people camping the body.
