Yes, welcome to the internet. In case you didn't know, the guy above is bigpappa, AKA "king of very short wisecracks which aren't funny or original". He finds issue with pretty much anyone expressing a view on the forums, but rather than just not read them, he prefers instead to spend a whole lotta time on here shooting people down.

I find Papa's cracks to be rather amusing and non-caustic most of the time. When he does chose to make an actual comment/statment/or give input, it tends to be better thought out than most.

There's much bigger fartknockers that hang out in these parts.

Yeah but why would you bother even punching them in? Most people on a forum with either start a post to start a discussion, or contribute a viewpoint to an existing post.

I usually get this same problem and yea I totally no what u mean it is fristrating as hell because u would think that noobs or who ever is playing would want to get their score higher. Revive=2 points,Heal=1 point.:|:

And none for just healing yourself. Maybe there are 3 types of player:
1) Those addicted to point system
2) Those who don't understand the point system
3) Those who don't care about the point system and just want to play the game

Perfect example of what I was refering to, people who's main objective is to critique someone else's post, be it for content, delivery, spelling and grammar.

IM assuming you think that players with low ranks (lower than sergeant) are too dumb to revive/heal anyone.
Well i just made corporal and ive already mastered the art of picking up a medic kit and reviving those in need. This aint rocket science, If a teammate is down whether arty is coming or a sniper is near im gonna revive him. Probably a point of fault on my part but i play for the team and stats are secondary.

Alright, i've finally had enough of these lazy-ass medics who only heal themselves. Some of you might have read my thread about how i miss the medic whores, well today, it bursted my patientce. I was killed 5 consecutive times WHILE THERE WERE MEDICS ALL AROUND ME. And what did u know, none of them even TRIED to revive/heal me. All their ranks were low (below gunny sgt), now im not saying higher rank = they will revive you more, but the general feeling i get is that lower ranked players will be more likely care about their own health than to revive important teammates. These recent events gives me a feeling that the BF2 we once all knew and love is now overran by hopeless noobs unwilling to help out. So from now on, i will personally TK whoever does not revive me, i dont care, cuz if they dont care about me, then i dont have to care about them.

anyway; if a medic stood right next to me when I got killed, and there was no fighting going on (say.. it was a double k.o. for me and opponent) then when I live again I hunt that ****er down.

Then, I toss a couple of medipacks on him, swap kits back and walk away.

If you play medic you have a duty to fulfill.. don't wanna revive or heal? Don't play medic, because, seriously, a lot of people tk dumb medics nowadays. Interestingly, the rate of tks fluctuates.. sometimes you see a lot in an evening (mainly against medics), then the next day you can go 15 mins without seeing a tk.

I've had enough with whiners. Seriously. Who the f made you worth the entire attention of every local medic every time you f up? Sometimes you get revivied, sometimes you don't. Sometimes the medic can afford a few seconds to head over to you, sometimes he can't. He is playing a game after all also. He probably chucks bags at cap points and common choke points, fine. He probably revives whenever it's convenient, fine. But I don't see any reason to complain they aren't at your beckoned call the second you need them.

Honestly, get a squad going, invite some people that look like they have a clue. Get voice communication going and work out a plan. Get a guy to play medic and follow you as squad leader around. Work as a team.

Stop the whining. You get out of this game what you put into it.
