How do i know which patches I have?

Hey fellas I was wondering how do I check what patches I have because I am getting fewer servers to play on. I figured maybe I am missing a patch or something. My friend gets way more servers on the same settings as mine. My version is 1.2716. Now I remember I installed the latest patch yesterday.

Same thing for me... this is driving me nuts.

Says 1.1.27 even though i installed 1.22 TWICE now (and the downloader is telling me 1.22 is ready to install again!)

Is this normal?

I cant get SF installed for the life of me but normal BF2 servers work fine.

PS:

I checked the registry and it indicates 1.22 on mine for BF2 yet continues to show 1.1.27 in game.

The Current Version is 1.1.2720-552.0, dont know what that means but it is what it is.

I dont see any patches in last week or so.How do i get to that newer version that you posted blackhawk??

You have 1.21 patch installed m8 . Look en general news section, there are couple of good mirrors.

Any normal game would just say 1.21 but noooooooooooooo not bf2 that would be far to simple.

A simply search would have found out most of this info. Here is the info from the various version when the 1.21 patch was released.

The 1.22 info is:

Version 1.22 = 1.1.2720-552.0

You can get the download from various sites or just download the EA Downloader (EAD) and get the full patch from there. The EAD has been checked against trojans and adware of which it has none, so it is safe to install.

Not if you download and install the full 1.22 patch, you do not need any previous patches. If the EAD is not working for you, then try:

EA ftp

or

TotalBF2

I would play it safe and use the full 1.22 patch.

You will definatly need the 1.22 patch, as above you will have to use the ea downloader or from fileplanet/fileshack, if you do still have probs then just uninstall bf2 and start a fresh install and you can dl the whole lot in one file i believe?
