Although, a Joystick does allow you to hold your turns easier. I generally have to reset twice with the mouse to pull a full 360. So, it's all a matter of preference. {WP}Paas

Wow! You only have to reset twice to pull a 360? As I mentioned I changed all of my settings to 10 and adjusting my mouse setttings to max speed. I still have to reset about 12-16 times to pull a 360. I have tried short quick mouse strokes as well as long smooth ones. I even tried placing 2 mousepads end to end to provide a larger scrolling surface.

To give you guys an idea, if I take off of the carrier at full throttle and afterburner I have to pull back and reset 3 times to get the plane to lift the nose and rotate the landing gear off of the deck.

This is really strange, although mouse is not as tight in turns as a stick it shouldn't be that much different. I've played with both. You should definitely be able to do at least a 90* turn in one stroke. It might depend on the mouse too. I have a friend that can turn with his mouse as tight as me with a stick. I was never able to do that with my muse (even at exact same settings as his) but it was nowhere near as bad as your experience.

I've been practicing on an empty server at the Gulf of Oman since my last post. I turned all of the sensitivity, pitch, and yaw to level 10. If I make a pass over the carrier in a JSF and bank 80-90 degrees left and pull back as hard as I possibly can (at any speed with or without afterburner) I can get turned around in time to see the construction yard. I have to keep this turn going in order to get back to the carrier or else I end up out of bounds behind the carrier. I exited the game and went into my windows settings to change my mouse sensitivity. I had it set to about 80% fast. I turned it wide open as sensitive as it would go. I can't tell much difference in the game. Im using a Logitech MX 700 for anyone wondering.

Long story short I'm going to have to go with a stick.

You wont be disappointed. Man, your experience suck. I wouldnt want to be in your shoes . Hope things go well for you.

Get a logitech Attack 3 joystick for around 15-20 bucks, and for advanced throttle control......well I wont let out my secret :p
