This soundcard enough for BF2 ?

Okay im tired of my crap onboard sound and i decided to do a little upgrade, but since im low on cash and i dont want to buy an XFI to my 2.1 setup i found this card, i think it look okay i dont demand the highest quality in games but i still want a decent card.

Avoid that card like the plague. It may give better sound than your onboard, but it will work just like your onboard, everything done in software. The Audigy SE/DE/LS are all pretty much crap as they do not have the EMU10K2 chip on them that thr rest of the Audigy's do.

Try finding an Audigy 2 Value or 2/ZS instead.

Yeah thats what i thought but they had Audigy 4 so i bought that instead.. played some rounds on High quality Hardware with EAX sounds great now.

actually I put 2 of those cards in my boys computers in which they play oblivion and bf2, and for the price those cards rock
