Re: What kinda medic are you?
Top option ftw.
When i play as medic (most of the time) i would say my priorities were:
1. Stay close to my squad members so i can keep them healed/ revived
2. Keep myself alive :p
3. Kill and spot enemies
4. Cap flags if my squad goes thereComment

Got to keep your squad alive. Follow them in.

Re: What kinda medic are you?
Right now I'm an all out medic, killing, capping flags, reviving, and healing. The medic class is the new 1.22 patch clique. The G36E is powerful on 3 round burst and will take out the enemy in 2-3 bursts (depending on how well you aim).
I usually run to a casualty, revive him, and then give a few quick bursts in the enemy's direction to keep him covered while he runs.Comment

Re: What kinda medic are you?
I'm a Medic thats not on the list. However it's because I'm a medic mostly when I'm a squad leader. So my job is to actually stay alive as priority #1, avoid the front line, however if there is enough distraction I will run in for a revive. I make little healing spots for my squad to run back to. I try to pick off enemies if they get spotted and I know they are already engaging my squad, or if you know I get rushed and have no choice but to run or fight. however some times I run, either to a place I know it'll be hard for a enemy to follow, or towards a friendly. I also try to position my self so I'm far enough from the squad to avoid artillery if possible. This has proven quite useful, since I've been able to revive people that have been hit by the splash damage from arty, cause a direct hit liquifies.
Sometimes I feel like a big coward, but often I end up acting as a behind the lines spawn/healing station when it works. I've learnt to avoid stupid revives, especially when I'm a squad leader, sometimes I'll even get smoke from a squad member to cover a revive. playing conservatively like this, has also created alot of situations where I'm running and I do die, but because i was a short distance from my squad the squad comes back to help me, kills the enemy and then revives me with my own kit, so while I lose my healing abilities, I still try to hang back and act as just a spawn, perhaps switching kits with the dead, or if the new medic switches kits with the dead.
I'm also a big fan on stages like karkand, where there is 2 medics in the squad, the sqaud leader, and another medic thats more a front line medic, actualy killing, and not running from a fight as their first action. it also means there should always be some one to revive, and then the other medic can cover, while the medic and revived person gets to safety.Comment

Re: What kinda medic are you?
I saw the thread topic and my first thought was "absolutely insane."
Even if I only play it on and off, I almost always lead the board in revives and get a hefty combat score to boot. I basically look for some action and then clean house. Easy to tell where they are, just look for the dead teammates. Like having my own personal wallhack. :P
EDIT -- You want the best way to judge someone's medic play style? Do actions per hour!
53.89 kills per hour
37.99 deaths per hour
46.28 revives per hour
7.16 deaths while holding defibrillator per hourComment
