Re: Heads up about [BIA] clan

There does seem to be something fishy with mauraders account:

His stats are fairly poor and nothing to write home about (though still better than BloodFloods :) ) but he had 6634 points and 62 ish hours of stats added to his account today?

Still does not excuse BloodFloods reaction, far from bringing the questionable behaviour 'silently and calmly' to the attention of the admins he came out with a stream of abuse and then impersonated a BF2RS admin, the admin explained that the matter could be dealt with:

[Admin: rico_roughneck] prove he is a cheater and then i will do it, nothing else will be done unless thee is proof!
This just smacks of a 12 year old that couldnt get his own way so he threw a tantrum and then decided to drag it through several forums :)

I almost think that we need an anti-clan and anti-server forum to keep that stuff off of this forum. I have never understood why people come to these forums to complain about a clan or server. If you don't like how they admin, then don't play there again. If they are violating ROE, then report them to the appropriate authorities (if you will). Either way it doesn't need to be posted here. I've had plenty of bad experiences on servers (clan dominated or not) and I just don't go back again. I don't come here and cry about it, trying to get someone to comfort me. Go back to the server browser (or whatever you use) and pick another server. Not so hard to do.

direct violation of the ROE, you cant kick people who refuse to join squads
then the RoE should be changeed , the rule wasnt really enagaed on the server, i cant remember that i kicked somebody for that reason.

I've posted this suggestion to announce the RoEs over the popup message in BF2 on the EA UK forums too. if you want that the RoE is accepted and especially known by every player, this could be a way. i personally know 5 people, who had never heard or read something about the RoE, before i told them about. Especially one m8, because the only english words he knows are "hello and goodbye", so he even hasnt got the chance to read the RoEs, even if he wanted to.

says who ? if i pay for my server i can kick who i want and for almost any reason i want.

I refer you to this section of BF2s ROE :

§1.5 Server administrators may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
              § Infantry only Servers
§ Kicking Players who use vehicles or aircraft
§ Limiting certain vehicles or aircraft for non clan members
so i cant force people not to use planes / vehicles or certain weapons with the theat of being kicked. Fine, no problem with that, we dont run a knives only server or whatever.

But it makes no mention about not being able to kick players who dont squad.

                :)

If yours is a MPUK server , it is on their forums that they do not enforce the ROE on clan servers .

Back on topic , BloodFlood seems to have gone on the missing list since BIA's post with the logs , I have played on their server and on occasion seen one or two of them on ours and they seem perfectly reasonable and fair . this does go to show though how easy it is for someone to come on a main forum , make an accusation , and oddly enough have it taken at face value . I make my own decisions on what clans and servers are like .
