Oh man...I just woke up....BF2 Dream

I dreampt I was on Karkand and getting shot at by an APC and Tank from the MEC...we were hiding behind the pillars screaming for an artilerry strike...anyways our cmdr kept denying it and somehow we got behind this wall and I hear people yelling i need a medic !!! and then i look over i see this guy who runs up hides behind the wall and yells NO MY PING IS TOO HIGH and he died...well anyways i took my spc ops gun fired a few rounds and took off running towards the river...then i hear artillery firing on both sides... as the enemy art. is landing near my location i wake up lol


This is some crazy Sh!t...anyone get anything like this?

Naw, it's actually very common to dream of 3D games. Your head has a natural tendancy to adopt the 3D space as being "real" when it's been pounded into your subconsious.

If you think about it, you likely pay more attention to your cyber-enviroment than you do to your real one. You're constantly watch out for badguys, checking corners, and keeping on the look out for sniper perches. It's natural for your subconsious to attempt to sort out all that concentration while you sleep.

If you were doing the same thing on the same level in a shopping mall, you'd likely get the same kind of dream... and then you'd definatly be nuts.

I have never dreamt of any game or 3d/cyber whatever in my life, sounds like you play too much BF2 lol.

Come to think of it I pretty much never dream.

When i used to play Worms armageddon alot, when i was in bed and looking up at the roof, i could see images from the game on my roof...

dunno how it does that to your brain but its weird lol

Ive had dreams yeh.

Best thing ever tho. After playing HL2, everytime i crossed the road, i would think "better quicksave".

Or, when writing an essay, i would do a mistake, and think "ctrl + z"

man I play this game 2-3h a day (when I can) and I don't even have dreams about BF2 ,

to many other things on my mind I guess (girlfriend, work, my two cats, building a house at the moment, household stuff, ...

I'll admit that I've had BF2 dreams on several occasions after a 3-4 hour session. Most of the time though I'll have trouble sleeping if I play too long or too close to bedtime. If I go straight from BF2 to bed then it is unlikely I'll get any restful sleep. Wheels just keep spinning...

Are you a coder monkey Rombaft? Sounds like it. I've been coad toading for about 15 years now and have had many code nightmares. 40,000 lines of code in two+ weeks for the AWACS project. Ugh. I've got the work, girlfriend, renovations and two cats to keep me busy too.

ive had regular dreams, that become bf2 dreams...

suddenly, i would go prone and aim at another guy who is prone....in the dream, i would think of pulling the trigger, but it gets confusing as i would be looking for the mouse button with my right hand....thats when i would fail to shoot, even though i have the shot lined up....keeps happening this way.....wierd

i guess its because i no longer associate firing a gun with pulling a trigger, but clicking a mouse button....and when i go to do that in my dream, there is no mouse button, i dont fire, and i get confused and wake up
