Unite in your decision to stop whining and play the damn game.

In 1945, the Allies landed in France and started taking bases. Their objective was simultaneously to take spawns, and kill as many Germans as possible to reduce their ticket count.

When they had all the bases capped but Germany's main, they chose not to sit outside and patiently wait for the Germans milling around to get organized and leave their main, but instead they chose to baserape.

Remember, the objective is tickets, not bases. Bases help with tickets, but deaths count for 2 tickets a piece. The Allies knew that, and so should you.

Shut up your incessant whining, and fight your way out of it.

I've been on both sides, but the worst time was when we were base raping the mecs in the wetlands and I was killed and I was switched teams. I fought and fought and fought and pushed the USMC back, but it sucked, because we were winning and then I was forced to switched teams, but we put to them before we lost

I love this thread. Baseraping is my guilty pleasure...no...actually that's a lie, I rarely feel guilty about doing it. It is my firm belief that there is no "comfy-safe-time out area" for the enemy in this game. I have been kicked, banned called countless names etc, for doing this....oddly that only increases my enjoyment of it. Although I sympathize for the enemy (getting raped can be VERY frustrating), it is a valid and effective tactic. See ya out there. :evil:

I go into a server where they spawn camp with the jet all round, non stop, they even steal our jets and do more damage...I come next round take a jet, and the enemy team has no jets in the air, they know better to spawn camp when im there in the begining of the round. The few that spawn camp the round before stay grounded...so i spawn camp the spawn campers

I hate spawn campers. Its funny when they are losing and they still dont move and just sit there and spawn camp

I would much rather play a round with a final score of 5 - 0, then 200 - 0. Is it really that much fun to kill someone right as they spawn?

Whatever floats your boat, I guess, but this game to me is more about having fun then running up my stats and W/L ratio.

Do you play chess and lay off the opening move you know may lead to check mate, for the fun of moving the pieces longer?

It's a game with an objective. I agree its more fun when your chess opponent is formidable enough to make check mate a challenge, but should you lessen the strength of your moves to accomodate novices?

If you want to, I understand. Just don't complain when others use the opportunity to spank their ass and teach them the lesson of using teamwork to stave off the beating.

I am not complaining. I just said that I don't do it, but if that is your style then fine.

I don't play Chess, but I do play Battlefield 2 and I find it more fun to have a close game than a blow out.

I agree its more fun when its close, but it has to be close because both sides are pushing hard, not close because our side won't push forward anymore to be nice.

Neither are the people who don't run to cover after getting killed twice in a row with a Tank. Instead most of them try to rush me, and you will never win rushing a tank.
