guys i really really think thats ultra high does not exist and if u think it does..its prob the placeba? effect...i think hte numbers just correspond to the level...like 0 = off and 4 = ultra high...if u want more proof...take pics and compare..orrr u can set ur settings to all 0 and everything will say that it is off...effects..off...textures off...terrain off...but when u play with those settings..its like playing on low..no diff

i just built a new pc and played bf2 on high settings and omfg, it looks beutiful. i had a crappy pc b4 and always played on low settings and with my new pc i can play bf2 with high settings while even playing music in the background. i was shocked at how u can see the arti shells descending from the sky and leaving like a chemtrail and how the chopper pilot missiles look when u launch em. this is new to me and its incredible.

Its not a placebo, I really dont feel like going in and changing settings and taking SS to prove it though. I personally can clearly see more detail in objects texture on ultra high vs high, especially on vehicle wheels, but in the heat of battle, that detail is lost anyway

ive been playn with ultra high for over 6 mths,did a post a while back n some high up disagreed, but it def changed for me .

Especially the lighting/shaddows witch i turned back down to high because the sand on the beach map was very bright in spots!.looked like real sand in bright sun but it had that i need sunnies affect.

So i use ultra except lighting n shaddows
