I am sure i have posted a similar post about teamplay a few months ago and want to do again because i still see way too many lonewolfs!
This game rules but it rules even more when succesfully playing along with teamplaying squad members. All squadmembers really have to do is spawn on the squadleader and cap or defend flags. Especially when a teamplaying squad is defending real well it's a rewarding feeling and just a fun thing to do!

I really don't like playing alone since chances are slim i will cap a flag all by myself! Playing as a team is for sure more fun to do than playing alone.
Most nights i start as squadleader and randomly start inviting dudes in my squad and keep spamming to em to spawn on my position since i will constantly try to move to flags to cap it. The moment i notice people are spawning on me i will keep my head low near a flag so my squad mates can keep spawning on me.. I had some fun nights with people that not only worked with me but also used VOIP. (happens alot too i be talking to a wall since no one is reacting to what i say!)

So all i am really saying is please join a squad, try working with the squadleader, teamplay, use voip and you will see it's much more fun than trying everything alone..

One more thing. I understand that there are succesfull lonewolfs that are just great players with skill but too many lonewolfs just wrecks the game if ya ask me.

I'm mostly on 40 somewhat players citymap servers!

I feel the same way. Many times my squad have defended flags(the Gulf of Oman the most fierce) and it is awesome when after 15 minutes of heavy fighting, bombing, arty, your flag remains. What is your game name, it would be great to join ya, three people capping a flag is quick, but six is awesome.

...how can you play a game built around teamwork (ok.. at least it's advertised as such) and hate the idea of teamwork?

Wouldn't you just be better off playing Serious Sam?

I love the game but i hate team work.
I like to play all by my self just start at karkand get to the factory roof try to capture a point. Sometimes stupid commander start saying **** in his mic (there is no way to shut him up only switch off the speakers or leave the squad)sometimes my own squad members TK me for the chopper on MEC base.
That's why i hate it soo much.

There are definitely exciting game moments that you will only see when you are part of a team. My most current memory of awesome teamwork turning into exciting gameplay was having about 4 assault classes in my squad all hit the ground at the crest of a hill and all 4 firing their nade launchers at once. It was awesome to watch 3 opposing dudes all go flying at once. That kind of stuff is what has me day dreaming the next day about BF2 and continually trying to find a good squad.
