new trick, you probly already do it. oh well. On vehicle based maps, be anti tank,get in a tank, and when you come up against a tank or APC....
FIRE,get out, fire your SRAW,get in FIRE,get out, fire your SRAW. Thats if you cant be bothered to aim for the two shot kill zones . Please dont insult me in any way, thats what always happens when i make a thread. i just made it to help some people who are having problems dealing with tanks, like i was.

Soon as you get out, someone will either steal your tank, or the enemy tank driver will moe you down with the Machine gun on right click, it will take you a fraction more time as you get out your tank, get some kind of cover (prone probably) take aim, and fire, he can kill you easy will the machine gun, and also reverse or move forward to avoid your oncoming AT round after your dead unless hes totally dumb, and plus you risk your teams tank getting stolen, then your really messed up. personally i wouldnt say its a good tactic, if it was everyone would be doing it.

Other than that, interesting idea. I've certainly never seen it done. Probably because the benefits of being an engineer in armour outwheigh the oppertunity to use this seemingly difficult and disaster-prone tactic.
Nothing much to stop enemies from gunning you down while you're out of the protection of the vehicle.

when i tryed it, it was me, against 3 tanks and an APC. i'm not lying. I came out victorious. My tank blew up, but there was nothing i could do about that

Well alabama619 i guess you was either very lucky or the drivers of the enemy armour were pretty dumb as to what was going on, maybe it would work abit better if you had a gunner as AT and he got out and fire his AT rocket at the enemy tank to help you, i would never suggest the driver of a tank get out in hostile territory, one fo the stupidest things you could do, for yourself and your team, as team armour plays a big part in some maps.

If you're in a tank on tank battle (APCs follow the same rules), keep moving and aim for the treads.

If you get out of your tank, it better be on fire or your ass will end up being killed by it.

And my final word, getting out of your tank in a battle will more than likely get you killed as soon as the enemy's shell hits the tank.

I sometimes do that with an APC, shoot the missle, fire till my main gun overheats and jump out and shoot the AT

Just get AT kit, jump in any tank in machine gun position, wait until the guy in the tank encounter the enemy tank, then ones they shot each other a couple of times, jump out and finish off the enemy. You can do that thing with a buddy, and its possible to have 2 AT in the tank, both driver and mg man.

This is what I prefer to do, it's like gaining an extra tank for your team with you adding the supporting plus you get some protection from it. Also you're pretty much guaranteed 1-2 points by getting the kill or KA.

naw i think its a good trick, ive done it myself, usually the enemy driver is not paying that much attention, and if you do it quick you'll be fine

dont try it against APCs though cause they'll be using their cannon and just kill you on accident when you hop out (did that once without thinking hehe) and against tanks be careful that he's not about to fire his cannon though cause you dont wanna get killed by that, and be aware that if there's room on the left side of the tank you're in, you will always exit to that side

you also have to do this trick quick, so have your sraw/eryx already equipped, then when you hop out, aim real fast, fire one off, and hop right back in, dont bother to aim too much, speed is the key to this trick, it can mean the difference to winning/losing a tank fight if its close or crucial
