Shock Paddle bug? You can heal yourself with them sometimes. So that you almost are "godmode"

He was definately on the other team, he was on my team and in my squad the round before, and was amused at how crap the other team must have been cos I kept seeing him shock paddling people in top left of my screen, ofcourse I also saw them accusing him of cheating, which I regarded as them just whining. They were also speaking german so no luck there.

When I get back on comp I can try to re encode the file with highest possible bitrate and put it on putfile so you can see the amounts of registered hits with pistol, which I use a LOT and know how many it should take to kill someone. Also going to see if this guy is playing later tonight and get better evidence.

My only explanation would be that it was a enemy nametag bug on a server with FF off. So you were shooting him, but he wasn't dying because he wasn't taking any damage because he was on your team.

if it were the red/blue nametag bug, he would have had the same skin/clothing as his teamates.

I know what this is. It's a bug, I doubt he does it on purpose through hacks.

I posted about this some time ago, it happens to me on certain servers too randomly. But always on the same servers.

My defibs start healing me instantaneously making it almost impossible to kill me.

It is funny though, you can **** off people majorly when it happens. Taunt them while jumping around while they unload on you. With your defibs out.

I still have no idea as to what causes this, it just happens randomly to me.

There is no GOD mode in the BF series, and until clear proof is given then you guys shouldn't buy into this paranoid hype.

I don't know the specifics, I do know I've seen it in action. I've seen a tank get 8 AT missiles shoveled up its ass, with no crate or other players around to possibly be healing it, and not even start smoking. This happened repeatedly, it was under CONSTANT fire and not dying, never retreated or anything. Only way it could be killed was with a carbomb.

So this proves that unfair advantages can be attained in online play, not necessarily a hack, just an illusion of god mode to other players.
I suppose it should be considered as cheating, at least, as the player chooses to keep their shock paddles out, (rather than getting a gun out) thus healing themself at a faster rate, without having a medipack out and being able to kill others..

i think it started to happen in patch 1.2. i have yet to see this bug. i tried it today with my shock paddles out and nothing. i think it has to happen under certain situations. but then again it could have been a hack.

I'd say he's hacking. For once I really like BF2S, with all their graphs.
On march 17th he had about 1600 deaths and kills and today he has about 9000 kills and about 6000 deaths. Either he just got madly good or he's hacking.
He's also played 150 hours during this time, that's way to much to be healthy.
