Some asshat tried knifing me the other day but I turned and saw him coming. Rather than shoot him, I avoided his stab and took mine out: he started backing away throwing nades at my feet, missing every single one... and when he had none left, he took out his gun. I don't really mind, but it shows your cowardice and lack of sportsmanship...Comment

If I'm off on the edge of the map somewhere and happen upon some fool trying to knife me, I'll usually gladly pull out my knife and fight with him.
If it is in the heat of battle and you run up on me with a knife out, I'm basically going to use whatever I have in my hands at the time to kill you..... shoot you, throw at you, etc.
There is a difference between honor and stupidity.
Besides....the knife fights in BF2 are weak. SOF2 had the best knife fights yet. :)Comment

I don't think it is honorable that someone is sneaking up on you to knife you then gets caught. In that case, you cap the dude. If by some chance you both break out your knives while facing each other then knife fight. They should add a voice where you can suggest a knife fight to an opponent.Comment

I shoot him......screw honor, this is a game..
Now in RL....95% of the time...honor is a luxury you don't have.....I know allot of people will dis-agree with me on this...but its just how i see it..from past experiences.Comment

I was afk once and i came back to the computer and some guy was right infront of me waiting till I moved so he could knife me, I wait awhile, then take out my knife and kill him.Comment

great thread!! I usually shoot the guy. Although maybe now I will pull my knife out. Just the other day i was trying for my knife badge. I got busted sneaking up on a guy and he pulled his knife. It drew the attention of about 3 or 4 other teammates.... I know there were other peeps watching not sure how many....anyway it was histericle!!! I won the knife fight and then turned to see if someone else wanted to fight me but I ended up getting shot by the people around anywho. I had quite a chuckle over that.....guess I got what I had comin to me for winning a knife fight at an enemy spawn. LOLComment
