I made an account and selected the Vatican as the country once. I'm sure that even with a few points I'd be fairly high on the country's list. :p

Yeah the rank only means how much you pour into BF2 daily. I've come across gunny sergeants than pwned me, and I've pwnd a few colonels. I think the better measure is KDR and Combat/Team ratio. Oh time whoring in vecs the better you are too =p
