that mod i belive is desert combat / or dc final for bf1942

i used to really love that mod but i just cant seem to get into it again after playing bf2 for so long, but theres still some really cool stuff like the aa flack guns, cargo plane ect

Desert combat YEAA.
real artillery, real big gunships, real freaking nice heli's and not so noob friendly like bf2.

and real good maps like armor maps and heli maps and not only mixed like in bf2

i believe desert conflictis being made, but idk if it will have gazala and el alamein, because those were battlefield 1942 maps. I wish someone would remake el alamein though, cuz that was an awesome map.

Yeah, it looks like desert combat or DC final... Thye are fun... I sitll play it against some old friends every sunday night. It's not BF2 but it's still fun.
That game had heli's that actually took skill to fly!

the desert combat team was bought by DICE and they actually helped make BF2. You can thank them for the commander mode and the diffibulators. It's these features that make most people think BF2 is a totally different engine than bf1942.

Desert ConFLICT is made by another team, and is modelled after DC.
