I went checking out mine. Currently is Sergeant. Next rank is Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant and Master Sergeant. In Master Sergeant, one of the requirements I am supposed to fullfill is getting award in pistol and knives comabt. To be honest, I am very bad in both of these gears. Now am I supposed to get these 2 qualifications or elase I will never be promoted to Master Sergeant even I have all the points for that?

I really want to know.

if you feel that they are to hard to do,
just find a pistol/knive only server theres loads of em about ive just looked.
but becarefull they are against EA's ROE,
you will have no problem getting your badges.
i dont agree with padding but i an many others find some of the requirements to hard for some of the medals.
an before any one starts to flame saying they got there expert pistol/knive the hard way then there talking b0ll0x,
i like amny others have been playing the game from the demo to the full release an have struggled like mad to get this 2 rewards.
the one im struggling with now is the expert explosives.

How do you get the expert explosives? In fact, I have difficulties in killing moving tanks with claymore and plating mines to kill enemy infrantry.

you need 37 kills with either c4/cly more/land mine IAR which is very hard now

No way . . . the higher rank is supposed to reflect increasing competence in the game. Taking shortcuts i.e. padding in knife servers to get pre-reqs fulfilled is not honorable.

I am not the best player (K/D ~0.85) but I got all my rank pre-reqs legitimately. More importantly I have fun and when I make a rank I know I earned it.

For knife/pistol kills I like a map where people zone out a little.

Maps like Zatar it's easy to sneak up on someone because they are usualy scanning the horizon in the direction of the probable enemy attack. In the rear area's they tend to feel safe because they feel they can easily spot an advancing threat.

Flank 'em and stick em.

For the pistol badge the spec ops class is the best. With the silenced pistol you can go prone in a well concealed position right in a capable base and get a string of medium distance kills from the rear flank. Most of the time the enemy doesnt know what hit them and you dont stir up a nest of hornets.

yes basic an vet are very easy to get but no way is 18 kills for expert knife easy to get

if someone needs to cheat/stat pad/ or go to specific weapons servers, thats because they play so badly that even a blind guy without a keyboard and mouse can beat them...

read what my original post says,
it says padding is against EA's ROE i fully disagree with stat padders my self but its very easy for some one to say that they got there beadges medals the hard way.
il beleive it when i see it until then keep the BS comin
