Question about second weapon upgrade

I tried to search around but couldn't find what I was looking for.

For some reason I can not get the second weapon upgrade for any of my classes. Do I have to get the 1st weapon upgrade for all guns before I can get the second one? The main gun I am talking about is the SCAR-L for the Special Ops and the second gun for the medic. Do I need certain badges? Is there a site that says what you need for each weapon? EA doesn't have seem to have any info on their site.

Well mate, firstly have you got Special Forces?? because thats essential. If you have, have you scored at least one point on a ranked server playing SF? because thats also essential..

Once you've done those things all of the 2nd tier unlocks ought to appear.

lol, the scar-l is reely bad....its not as good as the g36c.....

You need special forces 1st and foremost? to be honest the scar-l isnt all that, your better of staying with the G36c, a much more superior weapon.

Ill level with ya buddy, i have all the weapons unlocked and i still use the original weapons, the ak (mec) medic weapon rocks!
