  • Professional Engineers Please Enter!!!

    Ok so after playing the demo for about 2 years LOL!!

    i finally bought BF2!,but as i go to install,after i pick the language,The battlefield 2 screen comes up and then :

    Error Code: -5003 : 0x5
    Error Information:
    >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1971)

    any help is MASSIVELY appreciated!

    P.s i have the latest nvidia drivers from the site,and also directx 9c installed

    Windows xp home service 2 with ALL latest updates...

    Did you turn of any antivirus software before installing? Did you uninstall the demo first?

      i have no anti virus software isntalled

      also this is a fresh isntall of windows xp since i played demo

      (demo was never installed on this windows)

              yes.. like the pacific ocean ^_^.

              I dont know what that code means, is your CD drive working properly (i had to think of something)

              maybe you harddrive is named something different are there are issues with it?

              is it the DVD version and you only have a CDrom drive?
