A question about 1st Rank

My understanding is that you need the basic knife badge for 1st SGT. Well, I do not have it and this site says it's my next rank. Is this wrong or right?

If you have all of the basic badges, you'll go straight to First Sergeant. However, if you don't, you get promoted to Master Sergeant instead.

It's a goof. Without all basic combat badges you won't be first sergeant. And you need it by the time you hit 20k points, so I would get it soon.

I thought so, but I am not concered about the rank, I was just suprised. I don't play for rank and badges, I tried and it ruin my game, so now I just have fun.

Easy said then done. I do not usually wipe my knife out unless I see a sniper. I have only 17 kills with knife, and now I need 5 or 7 in a round

It really is easy. Worst comes to worst just use nothing but your knife. You'll get seven kills even if you die a lot.

Then you should play on my squad a round

I helped a buddy get his, i would take him around the frontlines and run back. I was a medic just incase he fell, i would pop the other guy, revive me buddy and on to the next attempt. After he got his basic, he was knife everyone the next round lol

Hehe, I did the same after I got my expert. My next round I ran around and knifed 13 people just when the opportunity arose.

When you get good with the knife you can do amazing things with it. A clanmate of mine, a 1st Lt., has knifed three MEC trying to take the TV on Sharqi at once: knife, knife, knife, clear. They were ****ed.

It really is easy to get basic and veteran, expert is hard but not nearly impossible. Not nearly as hard as I expected.

i only missing basic knife and basic pistol combat... got like 1 pistol kill less to get it,then the round ended.. i tried a lot but i got bored of trying several times.. But i always flip my pistol out instantly, when my mag is empty in close action so...
