Patching... Help!!

Hello fellow players of the best game ever created. Even though I've been playing for a long time, this might sound like a noob question. But it makes it easier for those of you who can help me out. I am pretty sure that I am patching the game right, but when I load BF2 and log in, I look in the upper right-hand corner and it idicates that I still have patch 1.1.2 installed. I KNOW I installed 1.22. Is this just something that that patch doesn't change? Is my game really patched, it just doesn't indicate it on the menu screen?

If not, what is the proper order of patches for BF2 up to the most current so I can do this properly. Thanks alot and God Bless America!!

It is patched. EA is too lazy to change the coding inside. Don't worry. If you DL 1.22 and you can play on servers, your patched.

No problem. Blame EA, theyre horrible at fixing little problems... Everyone's BF2 is probably still stuck on 1.12432542323 or whatever

Haha, tell me about it. It's almost as bad as the little terrain bumps that do damage to a freaking M1-A1 tank... give me a break.
