I still wanna see the wrench as a usable melee weapon!
If you can zap someone to death with the shock paddles, how come you can't cave in someone's skull with a nice meaty wrench?

There's some real zug-zug apeal going on there.

This forum is turning into whine and moan. I think the best descision of all would be for GameWizard to make a forum called "Whine and Moan" and let people whine all day long there.

Other than the complaining, I think the biggest problem with these here forums is often the complete lack of a sence of humor sometimes.

dude...its an freaking knife. The amount of skill it takes to kill with it makes up for the 1 hit kill

It seems, all the more mature players got it!
I get it every game I play.
The part I dont get is, how come I always get knifed by the biggest weenie on the server, whatever server Im on? It never fails, I bet on the weenie forum they have the spots marked on thier maps a day in advance. Its a little weenie symbol that has the words written on it, "Wait for Red here". Geez. . . . . . .Red

Sure, come over to my house and I will shoot you in the chest with my 12 guage. Then lets see you try stab me.

Seriously, I've been killed by idiots diving around with knives while I unload my shotgun or assautl rifle into them so often it it annoying.

The knife should be a 2 hit to kill weapon, with a 1 hit to kill to the head.

You should NOT be able to run into a gunfight with a knife and win.

Now this isn't saying there aren't many many wannabe knife fighters with no head left, but the number that get through is idiotic.

Hehe... I still remember one of the outright bad design issues with Tribes:Vengeneance. It seems that one of the guys involved with the project had an absolute hate-on for the Shocklance (a one hit kill melee weapon in the previous tribes game). Thus, he insisted that the melee weapon in T:V be toned down.

The result was laughable. The hardest weapon to actually use did practically nothing.

Just one aspect of a very poorly executed project that managed to kill a very good franchise.
