We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I had this problem and the solution was simple (after going crazy for 2 weeks trying to figure this out!)
I got a can of compressed air and blew all the dust out of every nook and cranny. When I restarted the computer, I no longer had the problem. The dust inside the case was causing the motherboard to overheat. Go to Radio Shack and get a can. You'll be surprised.
I added a couple of fans too and brass covers for my memory sticks that help disperse the heat on them.
I had this problem, its your CPU. All you have to do is just clean your CPU. That'll fix it. I remember having this problem a while ago and i was getting fustrated. Hope this can help.
Clean the CPU?! Can you explain in detail what you mean with that .
My self and many others have had this problem...I did everything to figure out what it ws turned out the my CPU was clocking back because of over heating turned out my heat sinks for my cpu was cloged with dust I took off the fan and heat sink cleaned it out and man back up and playing...If you don't have it you should down load intel monitor or amds version. You will more than likely find your cpu is ready to cook eggs.
Good luck.
