let's compare Type 95 to MG36, Type 95 has better base accuracy, better maximum accuracy, AND better damage/sec. I really wonder what's the point of using MG36.

I agree with that one. MG36 is not the best LMG. But still the pkm is better than type95 and if you want to play support and you have the pkm then it is a better choice.

ak 47 is decent but not the best. you are one of very few who think so or use it much. obviously its better than the crappy L85, but way worse than the G36E or G3

Man am I going to have to disagree with you about the L85, I've stopped using most of the unlocks recently just because I actually figured out that I like most of the regular weapons better than any of the unlocks, but the L85 is still my baby. I love that gun, whether its up close or far out.

Yeah, ever since they upped the damage on it so it takes 1 less hit to kill it's been deadly. Plus that big juicy scope...

MP7 is definitely underated..

Just got back from playing a match on Songhua Stalemate and we were capturing the chinese main base but there was a squad protecting it as well as stragglers respawning there. They were hiding from our APC so I got out (was passenger) and ran in and around the buildings with my MP7 and got about 10 kills without dying

The MP7 is GREAT for close and medium range combat!

2. Type 95: most accurate MG by far at long range, and has a high RPM which spews out crazy amount of damage at close range. Coupled with the fastest reload speed of all SAWs, it's arguably more like an uber assault rifle.

Type 95 is the least accurate MG. I believe you're still looking at the wrong .tweak file; chrif_type95 instead of chlmg_type95. chrif_type95 is the QBZ-97. Most accurate are now HK21 (in EF) and MG36.

actually you are right. We need to get black duck in here and make sure to update the weapon chart. type 95's min dev is 0.4

ok, the svd is obviously the best sniper rifle, to anyone who uses it.

i dont care how many snipers pretend that they are elite or hardcore and get headshots, but from 170 hours of Bf2 ranked experience and many more of BF1942 and mods, SNIPERS DONT GET HEADSHOTS, UNLESS BY ACCIDENT OR COINCIDENCE! there.

fact of the matter is that the svd will ALWAYS win against the other sniper rifles, if the people have approximately the same skill.

you go "bam bam bam" dead. he might hit you once, but probably wont. also, if youre going for headshots the semi auto will make that much easier.

the m16 is also incredibly underrated, the thing can just own PKMs and just about any other gun at long range in a prone firefight.

the best example is iron gator, PKM whores would climb onto the open deck of the carrier, and i would kill all of them in prone firefights with the M16.

but smoke?? tear gas is far more useful, greater range, shorter deploying and vulnerable time, it blocks you from view and causes infantry to go around most of the time.

and i dont know if it always was so, but currently the SAW is far more accurate than the MG36, and also seems to kill considerably faster, despite seemingingly being very similar.

i really could care less about how long it takes to overheat, by that time your rounds will be extremely inaccurate anyway. no decent player just holds down on the trigger for 10 seconds, you fire in bursts.

Well, maybe you need to "speak for your self", because believe it or not, there are ppl that are "plain, & simple", just better marksman than you are, in my 1100hrs. of Bf2 ranked experience, it is very easy to get 3, 4, or 5 headshots in succession against prone, or standing, but not running adversaries

I have had strings of headshots @ the trainwreck in Karkand so many times "it ain't even funny" (but you get POUNDED by arty)

You put the M24/L96's crosshair in the middle of a non moving soldiers head (prone sniper), & click the left mouse button, works 100% of the time

Granted, you get shot first once in while, waiting for the "clean head shot", but when you get them, it "damn sho'" ain't no accident

Maybe it just seems easy to me because I am US Army certified Expert Rifleman IRL

37 of 40 timed targets on record fire day in basic training (3 out of 3 @ 300m w/ the M16) w/ NO SCOPE

22 = cannot graduate, repeat cycle
23-29 = Marksman
30-36 = Sharpshooter
37-40 = Expert

btw 12 of my 160 man company (about 8%) scored Expert, so my profeciency level is not even close to rare, or "unheard of"

Have you ever stopped to consider that maybe, just maybe, real ppl who are "1337", or have "skillz" IRL like playing online video games too

ps. probably due to the number of n00bs that don't wait for medic packs, I get regular 1 shot stops to the body on running targets

Also IRL when I shoot deer, I shoot them through the lungs 100% of the time (that way they don't run far), & that's harder than a headshot, & w/ a scoped shotgun too!! :confused

Wanna here somethin' really funny? I know that when I shot @ this 1 guys head, (whose head was just sticking out around a corner) I missed by say 3-6 in., & I still got credit for the kill, could be lag between the server, & my PC, or maybe the hitbox, is actually bigger than the head hitbox (or just a bunch of triangles), just like the collision matrix is??

Hand Grenades. As a support guy, I have an endless supply of them. I don't have to see my victims, so they can't shoot me. I just keep lobbing them over the side of a building.

The guys that climb onto a roof and sit their with infinite nades should have been nerfed somehow

The way he says it does sound "gay"

But actually, w/ the nade's range & power, & by directing your tosses w/ the minimap, under UAV you become a very effective "light mortar"

I'd say you're right. Everyone calls it useless but I'm finding uses for it constantly on assault. Most of them involve... ahem... not getting shot at.

I remember when the MG36 had a fairly low max deviation and it was (In my opinion) the most accurate LMG. Now... I don't really see a point of using it.

Also, yes, the SVD is underrated. Not many people have made it past me when I'm defending a flag using it. Then there are those who actually know what they're doing, and I am the one to underestimate them. =P
