Modified Content! Help!

Iv been having this issue with bf2 ever since i got it. I join a server and load it for 10 mins and i click on join game and i get kicked to the main menu with a message that says "Server only lets players with unmodified content to join" So i useually just reinstall the patch and it works.

Not this time.

I have been playing on the Sir server with no problems on the 1.21 patch with no problems until i got the new patch 1.22 and it did that modified content crap again! I installed it like 5 times takeing 20 min each time. uhh someone help me....please:cry:


Oh and it does it on most other servers too a lot!

Try downloading the full 1.22 patch and reinstall again. The order is:

BF2
Special Forces
Euro Forces
1.22 patch

Don't get me wrong, I'm not wanting to start anything with this. But, I'm getting the same problem this guy is getting. There is no reason why I should get this problem! It will take me THREE hours to fully get the game back and running. That is complete Bull S***.

What really ****es me off was that it was working perfectly fine yesterday! Now, it just doesnt want to work ...

this has been a problem for me since day 1
only solution is to reboot computer
one of our clan guys still cannot play a certain map
from my readings in the forum - it might be related to a corrputed map folder
many of us simply re-installed the game
(me - 4 times)
THEN - I have learned that I have had bad memory in my computer
used to get many "patch failed" msgs etc
and many modified content errors
now get neither (so far)

I just got past my ea-downloader core.exe problem by booting up in diag mode. Now I have the same problem (modified content) but for only the EF maps (which is the first time I used the ea-downloader purchase and install software) All the other maps are fine.

I tried to re-apply the 1.21 -> 1.22 patch over the EF install, but it's telling me I have to have 1.21 loaded to install..

Does anyone know if the full 1.22 patch can be applied over the already 1.22 patched BF2 and SF ? I'd really rather not waste my time downloading it if it's not likely to work without a complete reload of the game..

Tons of threads allready here at TBF2. Search for a thread, before making a new one about the same.

Please ensure you have searched the forum before creating a new thread!
