Not Promoted

I recently acquired my basic pistol and knife combat badges, the last of the infantry badges I needed. However, I have not been promoted to First Sergeant yet, even though I've met all the requirements. Is there something I don't know about?

I have all the infantry badges (veteran) as well as 20,000+ points. I've been playing for a while after I got the last two badges but still no promotion. Any suggestions?

you have to earn the badges BEFORE you get to 20000 points

you need all the required badges BEFORE you get promoted to MSGT. If you do not have all the required ones for 1st SGT before you reach MSGT, then you stay a MSGT.
