I just got my promotion last night to what i thought would be Sergeant Major, but when i looked at my scoreboards, it said that i was Sergeant Major of the Corps. What the heck is that? I can't seem to find any info on that rank anywhere.

Does anyone know what it's suppose to be? The only thing my BF2 Stats Viewer says is: Only awarded to one player once. Now that really helps me... Duh!!!

did you really get seargent major of the corp????????????cause thats a rank that i thought didnt exist anymore.

I don't know why, but i use BF2 Stats viewer to check my stats and that's where i saw it. All i want is to know what this rank is and why i have it? (ok and why it doesn't seem to show up in BF2S.com)

This is a rank that i cannot find any info on for some reason.

Your a Sergeant Major, not a Sergeant Major of the corps. That rank was retired a while ago, its still in the data base its just no one can achieve it.

OK. So that would be the reason why it only appears in BF2 Stats Viewer then and not in BF2S.com or BF2Stats.nl. But what was it suppose to be about then???

In the first few months/weeks of BF2 the highest rank to achieve was Sergeant Major of the Corps (or 2nd Lt, cant remember) and since it was the highest EA would award 1 persone every month the rank. Then EA patched the game and added the rest of the ranks you see now, 1st lieutenant - captain and so on. They removed Sergeant Major of the corps because it was no longer the highest. The only thing is, it remains in the data base unable to achieve.

Ya like http://bf2s.com/player/44708151/ hasent playd since 1.2 and the rank he is is the highest you could get.

My last award was the chopper ribbon. Other than any stars I got since then.

I just got the basic armor badge. I just patrolled the map looking for kills (only got 2 ). But luckily I stayed alive for 10 minutes and wound up getting the badge :).
