    is this possible?
i have played single player for 4 rounds to practice my head shots and noob tubing and i noticed that i could not get a one shot kill with the m16. anyone with similar experiences?

I think it takes at least two headshots for the M16.

Or a head and a body shot.... or a papercut.

has been said numerous times before.

a headshot in BF2 is not like in other games.
You actually have to hit the helmet of the enemy, and not the face or throat etc.

Every weapon except the Pistols and AT guns are capable of "one shotting"

        just hit the helmet.

very realistic ^_^ a bullet to the eye wont kill a man. haha. but yeah I guess its capabale. I vaiguly (wow horrible spelling) remember getting it before, but its hard and probably worth it more to just aim at the neck and spray or burst shot. (or burst shot at the face/head)

Have you tried with a friend and stood opposite one another and tested the different regions?

That is stupid. Helmet should deflect the bullet. I actually try to shoot in the face when I am sniping. Hitting the helmet with a M95 or any other sniper rifle is also not the problem cause those projectiles can penetrate a helmet easily.

Well now you're talking physics, which is beyond the scope of this thread!
