Your trees on the second pic are slanted with the ground. If you want to set them straight, set the Normal Scale to "0". I'll post some pictures of the map i'm making at the moment which is ,coincidentally, quite similar to yours.

This much trees put together will most likely lag for a lot of people when you get it online, but it dont matter if your just making it for fun.

Forgot - I will tell im its nice if I can see more of it and then if I think its nice. As of now, I can mostly see trees.

Keep posting pics as you make it. That way you can hopefully get some honest feedback along the way to a, hopefully, great map.
