Ranking problem

Ok i wasn't 100% if it was a bug as my mate had the same thing so he contacted EA support and they did acknowledge it being a problem apologsied then said they couldn't do anything about it!

anyway. When you get to 20,000 points you go up to Master Sergent. After that your next rank is 50,000 OR when you achieve the basic medals for each class.

So for me say im now at 35000 or so points and am ranked Master Sergent but recently i got all my badges and so should go up to First sergent and get another unlock before getting to 50,000 and getting the next rank.

Now i thought that maybe Fiurst Sergent and master sergent were kinda equal and if you didn't have the badges at 20,000 you just got one rank and if you did you got another.

But no. I should of gone up a rank for getting al my badges and EA said so.

Thats also why whenever i login to bfha it shows the 'bar' as all the way along till next rank because im supposed to be at the next rank but im not

Anyone else had this?

I'm not sure what your saying.
I'm in the same predicament as you. I cannot achieve First Sergent because of some glitch with the veteran pistol badge being awarded before the basic one. There was a fix for this bug early on, but us oldies got stuck with the buck. Although we shouldn't be effected with the next rank.

But from what I garner about what you're saying is that you were supposed to get another unlock for achieving First Sergent? Or am I just totally wrong?

i thnk what he means is because he know has all his basic badges he should be first sergent,

anyways your wrong, you only get First Sergent when you have basic badges by Master sergent. ie you have all basic badges a few points before master serg promotion then you will gain 2 ranks. its like a bonus thing, if you miss it you cant ever have it again, so uhm tuff luck :P

I think you should of got all the basic medals before the 20,000 mark.

So sammy you're saying that u have more than 20,000 points and u just got all ur badges needed for the next rank.. but you havent recieved it? Like scinto said thats probably the reason.. and i'm pretty sure no guides cover that.

like everyone said... once you hit 20K points... the game does a check to see if you have all your badges. If you do, you're a First Sargeant. If you don't, you're a Master Sargeant.

The next time the game checks for badges again is when you get 50K for Master Gunner Sargeant or Sargeant Major.

Once you hit your rank thresholds (the required amount of points for next rank)... the rank that you qualify for sticks.

Thats what i thought but i actually emailed EA support to ask them and they said i should of gone up a rank but hadn't becuase of a bug so the fact i should of gone up a rank and didn't is not in question.
