Crashing. . . Mostly freezing.

My BF2 has always worked fine. But recently it has started freezing in multiplayer and singleplayer. Once in a while it crashes too. It started happening after I bought Special Forces so I uninstalled Special Forces and it still freezes. I've considered reinstalling but that takes forever so I'm reluctant to do it :hmm: . Anyone have an idea?

If you need specs or anything else just ask. I'm too lazy atm.

EDIT: It may also have something to do with my Norton's Antivirus problem. I have a thread regarding that too. . . :-(

Yea post your specs that will help. About norton anti-virus, For BF2 to run properly, norton anti-virus or any anti-virus program has to be closed or disabled.

Is your cpu fan free of dust.?
If not your cpu can overheat and crash...

:) This was more of a, "Has anyone had this problem and what did you do?", type of thread. But besides that. I've removed Norton Antivirus and replaced it with Avast and a separate firewall for my worm protection so I'm sure it will work now. Thx guys :) .
