Well after reading through quite a few posts concerning all the bugs and problems, I'm beginning to wonder. Does EA test their patches. Some of the obvious bugs are not fixed especially from the 1.2 patch it's like come one how do you hold back a patch for a month and not realise the AA is overpowered or AT missiles are flying right through tanks. And super obvious things like increased lag and the super sniper support guns. Personally EA should revert back to 1.12 with out the BS black hawk and then have the same performance as 1.2. Personally 1.2 in my opinion was the best for ground combat, because you'd hardly ever get raped by helicopter or repeatidly bombed by planes. Am I right or wrong?
WTF? Does EA even test the patches?

have you played it yet or are you just listening to what everyone else is saying?Originally posted by Alm()nd J()yWell after reading through quite a few posts concerning all the bugs and problems, I'm beginning to wonder. Re: WTF? Does EA even test the patches?
I'd put my money on the fact that he hasn't played it yet, none of the things you listed are issues anymore. 1.21 fixed the AA, 1.21 fixed the AT missiles, 1.21 toned down the amount of snipers by reducing claymores, 1.22 fixed the support class.
Obviously you have just defeated your own argument.Comment

Re: WTF? Does EA even test the patches?
EA does have some serious QA issues. It's a part of the company that seriously needs to be addressed. Their hiring practices are silly and based mostly on cost saving rather than getting talented people in there. They only give short term contracts to QAers (even Lead QA!). Even when they do get talent into the QA department, they treat them so badly they rarely hang out for a second contract.
So basicly, they ensure that they have no experienced people in that department. At all or ever. Why? Because when you're on a short term contract, EA isn't obliged to pay overtime rates OR give you raises.
Bad form.Comment

Well I was expecting the worst but the LMGs are fine, slightly less accurate, although at times it seemed like you couldnt hit someone at 3 feet unless you used the iron sights, may just be me.Originally posted by Lucky-Strike90and ur outta here...........
but seriously, is 1.22 good?
Doesnt seem like any bugs were made worse anyway

Re: WTF? Does EA even test the patches?
I have played the 1.22 patch! But for any patch there are these obvious bugs, they test and test the patchesfor weeks, but yet can't find any of the most obvious bugs when the community finds them within a few hours after release.Comment

Re: WTF? Does EA even test the patches?
you can test things all you like in closed sessions but it isn't until things are public that some problems can be seen. different equipment for example will cause things to react differently.
All i can say is quit whinging..if you have problems with the patch report them to EAComment
