A simple Question.... and i supose a complaint

I have noticed along with probley everyone else who plays BF2. Why is the PKM unlock more powerful than the next unlock of the MG36. No it bothers me because i spent 1 unlock to get a 'suposible better kit weapon' than i already had. Now this didnt happen because you got the PKM stacked... please either make this the 3rd unlock or tone it down... I dont think it is fair that i 'waisted' an unlock... perferable i would like that unlock taken away on my kits but i know thats not gonna happen... so for the next patch please tone it down!

I think , originally , that the concept of the 2 unlocks was not supposed to be with the 2nd tier unlock e.g. the MG36 being more powerful than the first tier e.g. PKM but rather it would be an alternative with similar power but different attributes such as different magazine sizes different sights etc. etc.

I switched to the MG36 a couple of weeks ago and with time I have found that I actually like it much better than the PKM.


As long as you're firing in short burst, it's accurate and very damaging (and as a bonus it doesn't make that distinct PKM sound). Additionally, when the situation calls for it, you can hold the trigger down a lot longer before it overheats.

Now that I'm used to the MG36, the only thing I miss about the PKM is the sights.

I dont think DICE/EA looks at the unlocks the same way we do. For instance why the H&&& did they put the L9 sniper rifle as the default kit for Euro.

Also in SF the kits are really whacked and you only have 2 choices EVEN if you have all the unlocks.

I think it's another one of those things they didnt think out fully.
