....that doesnt make sense that it STILL doesnt work colinloves. It should work perfectly.
Try BF2 to SF to EF to 1.22. Because EF came before 1.22. I dont have EF so did it say waht it patched back to during the installation? Because SF patched back to 1.1, right?
So what could be happening is BF2 1.1 to SF 1.1 to 1.22 to EF 1.2 which would result in the unmod glitch as servers are running 1.22 now.

Yeah, it's prolly your EF install that killed you.
EA's announcement page actually has a specific note about it.

For those of you with Euro Force, please ensure that you have Euro Force installed before applying the 1.22 patch. If you install Euro Force after the 1.22 patch you will need to patch again afterwards.

Yea i hate that i have to reinstall when ever a patch/hotfix is released. Oh Im doing that right as im typing this thanks EA.

Funny thing...

I've not had to reinstall once.
Maybe BF2 is paying me a small mercy to assuge my crap PC woes.

The only problem I ever had was back when EA was making the patch installed in-house and they took that obssene amount of system drive space. Had ta work my way around that one since I've only got a total of 2.5 gigs of possible space on my system partition (system drives are for OS's, not as massive temp drives!).

I would of checked, but there wasnt any info on their site when i got it from the downloader.

But after re-patching 1.22 full, it seems fine. (unless time tells otherwise)

I get the "unmodified content error" since last night, but only on EF maps.
Vanilla works fine.
hope they get it solved soon.
