I was just thinking about how nice it would be to have a little icon or something to let you know which mode your gunner was in. That way when your setting them up for TV shots you know whether they're paying attention or just being tards in which case you would go for the strafe on your own. :p
How about a little red skull that pops up on the hud when the co-pilot switches to tv guided, so that you know death's a coming.
But, ya I think there should be some way to tell if you're co-pilot is using tv guided or the cannon. I've flown around a lot of times setting up shots to only have my co-pilot killing small fry.
Currently the only way is to watch if the little bubble is moving left or right in the box.
Similarily, I have been gunning in a chopper, in TV mode waiting for the pilot to line me up (which I thought he was doing) only to find out he was wanting me to cannon some infantry. I don't know if he didn't see the BH I was trying to shoot, or wasnt worried about it, but it would be helpful both ways.
A nice, simple idea to improve an aspect of the game a little :)
I'd also like a seperate comm button that would allow you to communicate with whoever is in the vehicle. Anytime I fly in an attack chopper I do my best to get the other person in a squad but sometimes it's kind of difficult, not only that but time consuming.
Nice idea, but will never be implemented because Dice doesn't give a phuck. In fact, given recent trends, I wouldn't be surprised if asking for something like this would bring with it a nerfing of gigantic proportions...
"We gave you the TV HUD indication, but we dropped your missile limit to 3 and reduced your health some more. Oh, and you're officially a light beacon now..."
