Need to start my own thread. How to get 3000+ knife kills.

Uninstall patch 1.2 and up.

Dolphin dive and stab those persistant Support guys.

My knife kills have gone way down since 1.2, but I also stopped trying as much. One on one, make sure you go left and right and aim for the chest post patch.

Always keep your finger on the 1 key if you want to use your knife.

i hide in the shadows, moving fast and stopping for cover. I find it works best. sometimes use teamates with guns to go infront of you so you dont get killed before you get somewhere. But I only do this for knife badge, the only other times I knife is if I have no ammo or Im bored :p.

i can never find seven oppertunities in a round to knife someone. So i cant get my knife badge. I may resort to stat padding lol. only joking

I know what you mean. I had two in one round, both snipers out of my 17 knife kills, but I am going to try the crouching knife tech now.

Same here, pre 1.2 I used to jump, dolphin and stab them in the face, constantly, while they were freaking out shooting everywhere :p

Find a group of enemy who are flopped down on the top of building raining down grenades and anti-tank ammo on your troops. Sneak up behind them and swing your knife as fast as you can. I got four fast knife kills this way at the Market capture point in Karkand.

My Basic, Veteran and Expert were all earned with one try each. All you have to do is be smart and sneaky about it

You can't dolphin kill since 1.2, they killed the fun, rolling is just when you go prone while moving sideways.

I got my basic badge on Sharaki(SP?)

I was MEC, what i did was just run into the construction site and knife all the snipers. Just find think about where all the snipers hide and go there quietly.

I got my basic badge and vetren badge the proper way. By killing that many people with a knife and no spawn camping. I will get my expert badge the same way. Its harder but it will mean more to me.
For those who need the basic try the flags on sharqi. When some one is capping a flag run jump over the sand bags and go prone on top of them. From there its a simple matter of swiping the knife. I have been trying to get one knife kill a game at least. Lately I have been knifeing AT guys as they really dont expect it. You just ride as the gunner in a Tank and when attacked by one AT jump out and run right at him with your knife out. The last one I got was on Sharqi at the entrance, he was down the hill using a wall for cover between shots. I jumped out from Tank gunner position ran to the wall jumped off the wall behind him and killed him. He never had a chance.
Try the sand bag trick and getting one knife kill a game (start with all enemy troops faceing the other way) you will get better and better the more kills you make. Good Luck. . . . . . .Red

But I had a guy dive at me on a knife only server! Or can you jump and go prone. Is there a pic of someone doing a dolphin dive? Or a vid, I'd like to see it in action,

And the roll, do you straif then go prone? I've also seen this from an already prone position too

:laugh: At the weekend there are a couple UK servers knife and pistol only. Great fun, hard to get on them and the admins kick you if you are to good or use other weapons. Got kicked 3 times in an hour but racked up 80 kills last Satarday night. Find them using ASE.:laugh:

I had a kick go on me(didn't get kicked though 6 out of 10, phew). Apperently it was a knife only round... the server name didn't say though. Knifing is hard
