i was playing karkand and i spawned and when i did somehow i like jumped or something and was like 5-10ft in the air. it all happened the split second i spawned and i landed and wasn't hurt at all. can someone explain this? im positive it was not lag.

Some other object was near or in the way when you spawned and it propelled you. -

Was it the beginning of the round, like you jsut joined the server. When you spawn you guy actually drops down to prone and then stands up, but you don't see this from your view.Comment

lol something similair happened to me. I wa on Karkand and a guy ran around the corner I went to dive into the corner (not bunnyhopping) and I hit the ground and bounced straight up like 20 feet in the air. lol i killed him and parachuted on my way down. . . everyone though i was hacking.
I think it was lag and someone threw a grenade or something.Comment

This happened to me once on Karkand too. I don't remember the server though. What happened was that the round started and I jumped in the USMC tank and started down the main road....then right as I entered the first intersection the tank "jumped" about 20 feet straight up and slammed back down. WTF? No explosions..no damage....nothing! Of course IMMEDIATELY after that some moron started a kick vote against me because I was obviously hacking.
I was just as confused as everyone else. Only happened to me that one time..never happened since. Glad I'm not alone.

sounds kinda like a glitch in SF. If youre climbing a grappling hook, and get killed while youre climbing, you get sent off like a rocket across the map. (at least from your viewpoint.)Comment

Ive seen players do this before but it came from spawn camping ill explain.
If you place C-4 or throw a grenade and someone spawns and it blows the second they spawn they have like a 1 second immunity.
Player spawns C-4 is blown they fly into the air cause of the immunity try it yourself you will see, Im not sure if this is the cause that your speaking of but ive seen players fly into the air because of what i have stated.Comment

just driving down the street past the hotel
and BAM - instant hover tank - about 15 high for about 200 feet travel
do not have SP intalled
and 2 clanmates had same event
