optical mouse pads

i think im going to get the icemat 2nd edition black but i read on a review that it wont work with optical mice.

if anyone knows that it will or wont work please tell me. if any of you are g5 owners, like me, and have one of these can you confirm if its a good buy?

It works great, i have a MX518, just dont forget to buy windex and paper towels too

I bought a sheet of Teflon at the local supermarket and taped it to my table. It's about 15" x 12" and works great, very smooth and doesnt pick up any dirt :)

Lasted me a few years already

The packaging said it was for lining baking trays

i had a MX518 but i sold it to my friend cause i got a g 5

There is a firmware update (to 1.1) for the g5 that fixes issues with some pad surfaces (i dont have the link so ull have to search logitech). I have the g5 and use the FUNC INDUSTRIES sUrface1030 archetype which was reveiwed as the best out there when i bought it 2mths ago
