I love the choppers, but not the added armor. I think there is enough on Karkland as it is.

Stinks.

1) There is no helo pad for the choppers, you have to rely on boxes. Boxes give you ammo slower and heal your chopper slower.

2) It's a US and MEC map with SF choppers. SF choppers suck. The Havoc and Cobra are much better.

forgive my noobitude - i've never been able to use new maps.
i put the map in the xpack/levels folder.
i type in the ip address mentioned in the above mentioned post.
i opened up the correct ports on my router, if i even need to.
but i always get the 'unable to connect to ip' and i dont see the new map (strike at karkand sf) in my server list. help!!

1gb ram
p4 3.0ghz
radeon 9800 pro

Because it's probably not currently hosted. Just create your own local server to check it out.

Who wants choppers in karkand anyway?? I would rather take out all the tanks and just leave apc and transports. Much more fun.
