    How to fix F35-B/J-10 issue.

    • Make it so that the JSF's Flares actually do something.
    • Make it so that the JSF's missles can HIT the J-10 and not just fly past.
    • Make it so when you are in the J-10 you don't just have to lock-on, fire 2 missles and forget about it.
Thats IT. That's all they need to do. I don't (I don't think anyone else does either) have a problem with the J-10 being able to turn sharper. The problem is, being able to turn sharper, AND having missles that work, while the F35-B has to rely on machine gun only.

If you improve missiles so they can hit J-10 your back to the situation of patch 1.2 where 1st lock = dead

I agree with the flares statement, F-35B flares hardly ever work. Improve this.

Give the F-35 better throttle response to acceleration and deceleration, that way you would be able to throw a J-10 infront of you just by Air braking. Then the turning wont be such an issue and the F-35 will have a chance

This would make the JSF quite dangerous to all other forms of aircraft. If you got close to helicopter and let off some missiles, they would not have as much time to deploy their flares as lockons from other jets do.

The other two, I agree with.

Yeah but in the current situation, only the J-10's missles work, and it does kill the JSF on first lock

All joking aside.. They need to have dogfighting the way it was in 1.12, but with slightly better missles.

The situation now, pretty much if you get an above average J-10 pilot, it's [szie=2]d[/size]amn near impossible to kill him. I still have my ways though . Even still... The ratio between JSF -> J-10 kills vs J-10 -> JSF kills is just insane. I would say there are 30 JSF deaths before there is one J-10 death (DUE TO BEING SHOT DOWN BY A JSF).

Also, fix the damn collision mesh of the F-35, it's is way to big.

just make it what it was like in 1.2. dogfight are for WWII. they should make it so missiles actually hit.

they can OUT TURN all aircraft in real life by much more, so the 1.2 missile accuracy was realistic.

This needs to be done. But yeah the soultion isn't improving the F35B, it's toning down the J-10. The F35B is still a pretty good plane, it fights well against MEC fighters, however, it just doesn't stand a single chance against the J-10. Buffing the F35B would only lead to complaints from MEC players about an F35B/Mig-29 imbalance.

Not really. The laws of physics are mercyless - if you can't adjust the thrust you can't outmanouver anything. MiG-29 pilots have some very easy dodge manouvers in their training.

But (back to BF2 issue) I agree that J10's missiles are over-manouvered. They simply can't turn THAT tight and fly for so long (I saw one doing 4 large circles around the chopper before hitting it).

                  And the F18's mesh.

yea flares are crap, and A2A need to be back to 1.12 (they werent hard for anyone with some skill), or at least stop them being able to follow planes through their maximum turn!

the law of physics says that missile has a max G of 40 and aircraft 9G (mig can't even get to 9G), most modern air combat exercise ends at the moment the missile is launched: dodging a properly launched short range missile is often futile.

Saying that, lol i was 30 - 0 at wake when flying the J10, with both F35 on my tail

Me personaly i had no problems with the AA in 1.2 weve gone backwards now because of the the stupid whining plane and heli whores wanting to be invincible. To be Frank it takes the **** there were still plane whores in 1.2 and they were dam good aswell they learnt to adapt but all the no skill lame arse twats that couldnt adapt screwed things over AGAIN.

I don't know what you are talking about. I played wake island and my missiles will fly under the f-18 when I have clean steady lock. I have seen good pilots in the f-35 dodge my missiles as well. However, most f-35 pilots seem to suck terribly so yes if I get clean lock then you will get shot down, as it should be. Most good pilots (planewhore?)will prefer the J-10 so it appears to be more of a matter of skill not aircraft. You can't just look at one inbalance and expect EA to fix it, the US has so many other advantages so that when you add everything up the US still has slight edge even with a slightly inferior aircraft against the chinese.

Yep, me and some other dude where chasing some J10. He fired. Missle hit me, i fired. Missle hit him. Tried again and i end up getting TK'd by missles that seem to just go after the JSF no matter what and simply will refuse to touch the J10..

I would find it acceptable for a J10 to outmanuever the JSF. What i hate is that missles go through it and go after the nearest teamate asif some chinese hacker is controlling my missles...(hey that isn't a bad idea for a kit class )
