Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
Because you don't have the hours in.
You've barely played enough hours of SF to get one, never mind them all -

Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
Indeed. Ive read all the theads at bf2s about thier reasoning for saying its '5 hrs', but hell its been way proven its 50hrs. :dead:Originally posted by TITAN126You haven't fufilled the requirements! Go here to see more accurate requirements: www.bf2player.com"Crunch's First Officer"

Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
its a template for tehsig that someone made and posted on bf2s. it was made to look like the old bf2s sigs. the only thing I added was the rank before your name, and I cut the size down a bit. pm me if you want it"Crunch's First Officer"

Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
I think that 15 hours per theatre would be more than enough for those ribbons. And around 100 hours total gaming time for medals.Comment

That`s what I thought too, until I got my SAS one with 28 hours in.Originally posted by ChowleyYou need 50 hours in theatre for each army.
Correction I do have just over 50 under theatre. Under Army in bf2s It says I have 28 hours for SAS. Anyone know the difference?Comment

Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
"Time in theatre" is the time you spend on maps that feature that particular army - regardless of which team you're on. You are fighting in a theatre of operations that features that army, even if you're fighting against them, so your "time in theatre" increases.
So, continuing the SAS example, playing Warlord, Ghost Town or Night Flight all count as time in the SAS theatre, even if you're on the Insurgent/Spetznaz team. If you total up your time on Night Flight, Warlord and Ghost Town, you should get your time in theatre for SAS. Also, every vanilla BF2 map is in the USMC theatre, because they fight on every map.
Hope you get what I mean, I'm not sure I explained it too well... LolComment

Yea there is something strange I got my Insurgent at 40hrs in theater and if you check my stats at bf2player you will see I only have 47.59 on Insurgent.Comment

Re: Why am I missing these ribbons?
Interesting... Yeah, you appear to be short of what is accepted to be the requirement for the Insurgent ribbon (ie 50 hours in Insurgent theatre)... Perhaps the requirements shown on BF2player aren't right either - they're all just guesses, as far as I know. No-one knows for sure, it's all based on examples of who has the ribbons and what they did for them. The way I understand it anyway.
I know BF2S still insist that you only need 5 hours with the army to get the service ribbon rather than the 50 hours in theatre quoted on BF2player, but they're clearly wrong - I have over five hours on just about every army, and have played every SF map except Leviathan, but still have no ribbons.Comment
