might seem weird, sound changes ?

I have noticed that playing bf2 the sounds have changed. Is this something that happened in the patch ? or could it be something with my setup which would be weird because i didnt so anything. For example i no longer hear afterburners in jets, little stuff like that .

If you only have stereo speakers but you have 5.1 selected in the Windows sound settings then the sounds that normally come through the centre speaker are lost.

That is exactly what i was going to looking into because the only thing i changed was my speaker setup (to 5.1). Thank you guys!

So now everytime i play i have to change it back to 2.1 ..... I sad
