I think about 90% of the time i get on server with voip no one has a mic. Hard to communicate with ya, get a mic peepes it helps.

I would always communicate if my mic port wasn't fried. I got a new sound card and nether of my mics are worknig although they do work.

I hear ya at least you have one broken or not.although do get a new one. It sure makes it easy to cooridinate and destroy with communications.

i have a mic - but when i check the voip optio, it just unchecks itself =(

Thats because 80% of the people playing the game have a low or middle spec comp and the voip lowers FPS thus helping to create lag

Did you make sure that the mic isn't being muted by the volume control software? (double click the speaker icon in your taskbar)

who me? yeah i'm sure

i don't even hear other VOIP folks because it keeps unchecking the VOIP option yet when I installed the game I went through the VOIP setup before starting the game.

To get your Mic to work, you have to Re-Install the game with the mic plugged in

problem is that most servers do not have the VOIP enabled...

I play with several people on many different servers, all our mics work great... Then there are some servers that they just dont work..

I'm sure it is lag related.. there are probly some servers that would lag becuase of VOIP...

Although since EA controls the server in one way or another, they should require certain specs be met to allow game functions to work properly..
